In Textile City, the trading volume of fabrics reduced to 4.06mln meters ( fiber fabrics 2.87mln meters and fabrics 1.19mln meters). Influenced by the rain, visitors were rare, and new orders were only a few. But distributors said that many buyers entered the during last weekend, and they though that the trading volume would recover apparently in Aug.

Small-lot deals for 100% cotton twill, canvas, and tussores which were used to make working were favorable, to sub-distributors. 100% cotton bed clothing fabrics from 30S-40S saw slow-paced sales, and distributors had high inventory. The for rayon fabrics plummeted, and the daily trading volume waned gradually; large distributors sold about 4-5km per day, while it was nearly 100km during the peak season.

Producers in and Shaoxing, received tolerable orders for men's shirt fabrics. Dyed 100% cotton oxford  was offered at 13yuan/meter and 12.5yuan/meter respectively in these two areas.
